Middlewich High School Celebrates GCSE Success

Congratulations to the class of 2026!

Year 11 students have achieved another strong set of GCSE results, reflecting their hard work, determination and commitment throughout their time at the school. These outcomes demonstrate not only academic success, but also the resilience and ambition of our students as they prepare for the next stage of their education, training and future careers.

Many students have made exceptional progress from their starting points, with a significant number achieving the highest grades across a range of subjects. We are particularly pleased to see strong outcomes that have enabled students to access their chosen post-16 pathways and continue building successful futures.

Congratulations to the following students who achieved an exceptional number of high grades: Head Student Nikki Rutherford Gray (Wimboldsey CP), Head Student Elis Smith (Middlewich Primary School), Martha England (Middlewich Primary School), Zephyr Thackham  (Cledford Primary School), Grace Parsons (Wharton CofE Primary school), Luke Parry (Middlewich Primary School), Lois Parry (Middlewich Primary School), Lucy Casserly (St Mary’s Catholic Primary), George Riding (Warmingham CE Primary School).

Headteacher, Lydia Naylor, said:

“We are extremely proud of the achievements of our Class of 2026. These results reflect the continued improvements across the school and the dedication of our students, staff and families. We are especially pleased with the strong improvements in Drama and English, alongside the continued high achievement in PE.

Our students have embodied our school values throughout their journey, supported by the commitment of our teaching and support staff and the encouragement of their families.

We congratulate all our students on their success and thank them for their hard work and determination. We wish them every success and happiness as they move on to their future destinations and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.”
