Year 11 students have once again achieved excellent GCSE results, building on last year’s record-breaking success. These results reflect the hard work, resilience, and commitment of our students, as well as their aspirations to shape a bright future.
Many students have made significant academic progress, with the number of top grade 9s increasing by an impressive 55% compared to last year and 15% of all grades are between Grade 7 and 9.
Congratulations to the following students who achieved an exceptional number of high grades: Head Student Isobelle Caufield (Wharton Primary School), Ethan Price (Middlewich Primary School), William Treweeks (Middlewich Primary School), Rhys Chittenden (Byley Primary School) Mia Burton (Wharton Primary School), Ben Wigston (Middlewich Primary School), Jessica Grant (Middlewich Primary School), Herbie Wilson (Middlewich Primary School), Matthew Wood (Middlewich Primary School), Jessica Grant (Middlewich Primary School) and Cameron Mather (Wimboldsey).
Headteacher, Lydia Naylor, said: “We are extremely proud that our students have excelled once again in their GCSEs. These results are a testament to the continued improvements at the school and the dedication of our whole community. The Class of 2025 have truly demonstrated our values, and with the support of our excellent staff, they have achieved fantastic outcomes. Our teachers and support staff continue to provide high-quality teaching and learning in a supportive environment, while families play an important role in encouraging and supporting the students throughout their journey. I would like to thank our students, staff, and families for their commitment and effort. We wish all of our students every success as they embark on the next stage of their education.”
