As part of their ongoing Careers AIG programme, Year 10 recently produced their first CV and took part in a mock interview with a local business or education & training provider.
The following organisations gave up their time to support our students in developing their interview techniques:
Sir John Deane’s college
South Cheshire college
University of Chester
Manchester Metropolitan University
National Citizen Service
Barclays Bank plc
The Hut Group
The Army
Cheshire West & Chester Council
Middlewich High School Governing Body
All the interviewers were very impressed with our students and gave constructive personalised feedback to each student regarding both their CV and interview technique.
This is a selection of some of the feedback:
“… is very focused and passionate. He is confident and puts himself forward out of his comfort zone which is a great quality.”
“You seem highly motivated and hope to achieve your dream of working in the fashion industry.”
“Very impressed with … approach to this interview. His CV was extremely well done and he came across as very confident at interview, answering questions as fully as he could.”
“… is very personable, focused on her interests and has a good knowledge of her strengths and weaknesses and where she needs to work harder to achieve her goals. It was really great to hear about her passion for languages and her pathway to doing a language degree abroad.”
On behalf of Year 10 we would like to thank all the interviewers for giving up their time and sharing their expertise with our students and we look forward to working with you all again in the future.
